Atheists and Anger - Good reasons

One of the most common criticisms lobbed at the newly-vocal atheist community is, "Why do you have to be so angry?" So I want to talk about:

1. Why atheists are angry;
2. Why our anger is valid, valuable, and necessary;
And 3. Why it's completely fucked-up to try to take our anger away from us.

Mothy...you forgot to mention where you got this linkie from!

Me...Snakechic

hehehehe... (don't make me angry!)

yeah..its a wonderful blog - definately one to put into your favorites! For me...talking about feelings isn't all that difficult. What pisses me off..is the xian idea that only an edited version of human emotions are acceptable for public consumption - and by golly gosh, lets not mention how well the 'christian' manipulates their own and other's emotions for the service of their 'product' - their church, country & family values. "Praise the lawd" and lets scream in the streets.....

Mmm...come to think of it..'anger' doesn't really go down well in much of society. All that jazz about 'anger management'- right down to a 'lady' doesn't say that' crap..

eh...fucking bullshit!

The poor abandoned (by owner) chatroom could do with a leg up. I don't post so much these days ...
